Sherri & Lonnie
The Brook Cherith is family-owned and operated by Sherri and Lonnie Kallmeyer. The couple strives to serve their community by creating the positive environment that The Brook has been transformed into. Sherri and Lonnie acquired the building January 1, 2011, forever changing the dynamic of the establishment. With their new ownership came a new name: The Brook Cherith. Due to the success of the family-feel that they have developed, The Brook underwent a new addition to accommodate their growing headcount in April 2015.
Sherri and Lonnie developed their passion for the cause in various ways. They have always been devoted to this community and their neighbors within it. The family feels a personal duty to assist with long-term care because of circumstances that they have experienced first-hand. Because they have a special understanding of the needs that go along with long-term care, as well as the energy of their community, their level of grace and support is unmatched.
The Brook Cherith is meant to be a place of peace, quiet, and rest. Sherri and Lonnie drew inspiration from a biblical story found in 1 Kings 17: 2-7. This is the story of Elijah taking rest by the brook Cherith.
